Ankle orthosis Axiom Ankle is used to stabilize the ankle through its bilateral articulated braces. The back can be adjusted and individually adapted to the patient's legs. Dumb circular bands open and close easily and securely with quick locks. The foot plate has rearward stirrups that stabilize the heel in combination with the shoe and provide controlled heel placement. Axiom Ankle fits in most shoes and works great in combination with insoles. It is used for chronically unstable ankles and for preventive purposes. The ankle orthosis also allows full mobility in the dorsal and plantar flexion.
